someone please give me a definite yes/no on modding the aero 50 front fork for a spree. i am about to pick one up!

i would go with the elite front fork but i wonna be able to run a front fender and the aero 50 fork is compatible with the elite/metro brakes.....

i was more interested in things like, is the post diameter the same as the spree, if the angle of the fork correct/ close enough, and if it'll hit the body work and stuff like that.....

Here you go my almost completed project, just need to paint the rear panels.
Awesome Spree! I looked at the amount of work my Spree would need, then gave up and bought a Dio. Nice job!

So you weld where the holes were drilled, not around the circumference of the cut?

Front forks That I have swapped on to a spree:
elite e
elite S
1987 elite 50
express
express II
Urban express

They all require modification and do NOT bolt right up.

I have a 1987 Elite 50 S donor scooter.

Can you offer any insight into the differences in ride quality of the '87 exposed coil fork vs. the Elite fork you have pictured?

Is the procedure the same for the '87 Elite 50 S fork?

No weld both....the holes give it extra strength.

Be sure not to build up too much weld around the outside, or the fork will not fit through the tube.
