I went with the 4 valve as for street machines that is all that is really required.

Remember the CT is too narrow to cover the case port of the SE/05 block. An adaptor can be crafted to cover up the 1/8"-wide strip adjacent to the cylinder base which the SA-design CT leaves uncovered.

You can check TreatLand.tv for CT Manis. Mine cost me $40, including shipping IIRC. They only seem to carry the 4-reed version. They also sell compatible OKO carbs for around $80, shipped.

Here is a better deal on the OKO cards. This is a 21 but they have the 24, 26, 28 and 30 for the same price.

Is there a range of carb sizes that will fit that 4 valve manifold? e.g. 19mm to 26mm

Wondering if 24mm might be too big? Remember I have a 70cc malossi bbk and wild lion exhaust. My Se50 has 10.24 gear ratio too

Also, what range of jets should I have to go through break in and then on to normal operation?

Interestingly the kit cost $2.50 more than buying everything individually. But it is not a bad deal either and you will get it all in one box.

Any foreseeable problems? I know you recommended a 22mm carb earlier.
Never adapted a throttle cable before either. Will the length be ok?

The stock cable will not work but the one in the kit will do you just fine. However if your oil pump is throttle controlled you will need to wire it to the WOT position.

Put in a oil plug so no trouble there. My $400 scooter is starting to get really expensive.

Have not needed to, so no I have not, but I am making an adapter to put a CT manifold on my Aero 125 and I am getting some of Trafficjamz Spree to CT manifold adapters made in aluminum.

Here is a picture explanation.......The gasket in this picture is from a se50. Notice that it is bigger than the opening of the CT Manifold.

Oh kinda had the problem pictured in my head, but that helps. How have people solved solved that?

Could you take out the petal and reed stop from the original reed cage and then cut out the middle and then mount the new manifold on top of the old reed cage?

Scooterwerx was a noted Forumista until about a year ago. He was also a gifted Metal-Muncher. He took an aluminum plate and carved it to the outer shape of the SE/05 manifold. Then he cut a hole the size of the SA/16 manifold so the plate covers the hole and seals the SA mani. SE gasket under, CT Mani gasket on top. It was a thing of beauty.

I duplicated his idea with a thick carbon fiber plate - easier to carve on.
