My first scoot which got me started into this addiction was a red 81 Express SR. It has the dreaded bi-metallic heat valve operated choke that never seems to operate correctly - but Bear's recommended manual choke mod should correct that. A bit slow off the mark but it is variated and can hit 35 - 38. The variator was labelled "Honda-V-Matic" as I recall. Great looking scooter but acceleration is weak.
