just wondering, wouldnt my carb be getting more air now, because i have my airbox all drilled out? will it be that much more air?...

depending on how much you modified it. you can make some changes without effecting it too much, but something like going from airboxto pod filter is a big step. sometimes if all youre doing is drilling a few holes to allow more air, you can just adjust the a/f mixture screw and idle screw accordingly and it will work. but it all depends on the amount of air youre letting in

maybe i should go buy a fliter, and take it home, if it doesnt work... return it...

it will work, but like i said. you have to rejet. ots a tuning issue, not that the filter "dosnt work". it does exactly what its designed to do.

so theres absolutly no way itll work without bigger jets

it depends how corse the filter element is. but most likely not. it may run, but if it does, it will be running rich and you will probably foul your plugs

I wasn't saying you're slow, just that stock in general is slow. But by definition all stock mopeds are supposed to go 35, so you're not neccesarily fast, your buddies are just really slow. Hahhaah.
But what do I know. I'm slow too.

Hahahaha. I guess so. But my nice moped never leaves storage. Its only seen the foad a handful of times since I got it. Its my ugly 87 that's always on the street. But its slow too.
