All nice stuff but its the durability of the reeds and reed case that is the issue.
Spraying a -40 degree fuel mixture onto a hot rapidly cycling thin piece of carbon fiber or fiberglass seems to greatly reduce their life expectancy... and I dont like broken reeds or reed cases going through my motors.
Nitrous express mentioned a company that had a material better suited for reeds and nitrous use... I am going to investigate this.
I agree, thin composite wafers do funny things when they're cold. Could you not tap in a case port and blow yer laughin' gas in thar?

i have never play with it ..i have seen it on TV you no power block and other the one thing that happen when they hit the button is that also dump more fuel in as well ??? if this is right i wonder if you could use your oil pump to do so im thinking of the one for a split cable you could put a (dam i hate my spelling cant spell it out ) the thing that unlock the door and it shod open it wide open when you hit it and you could mix what ever you wanted in the tank ???

This is what I am wondering if you could do. Would spraying after the reed cage reduce the issue we are talking about? Would you get enough dispersion/atomization this close to the piston? Is there a risk of puddling below the piston?
I've seen 2 stroke outboards with a second set of carbs mounted on the transfer port covers, on the side of the cylinder, after the crankcase and they get the revs up and pop the carbs open with a solenoid and they work fine. So I would say, yes, the spray bar after the reeds should work just fine.

V-force reeds are the way to go. Man they add some snap. I have v-force reeds in my boys yz85's and they add some nice throttle response and slap right into the powerband. I put a 105cc BBK on one of the yz85's and the v-force work awesome in that application also.
You think there would be a way to make a 2stroke nitro. Seems like when you give it a shot you would need some extra oil going into the intake.

To do it right you need extra fuel and oil going into the system along with the nitrous. The really good systems have two feed bars, one for nitrous and one for extra fuel or in the case of a 2 stroke fuel and oil.

Well its nice to get everyone thinking about nitrous.
Just to clear things up I have run with it and it does work great on a 2 stroke!
Its not practical for street use but on the strip it cant be beat!
I have a kit thats adjustable in 10, 15, 20 and 25hp settings
To those who dont understand how it works, the nitrous, under high pressure from the bottle and the gas (fuel pump) are mixed together in the nozzle and then the mixture is introduced into the intake manifold.
I have asked about putting the nozzle directly into the crankcase a couple years ago but the Nitrous guy said NO!! I will have to look into this some more.

Not much of a battery as the charging system would supply enough juice to run the electrics. The fuel pump does not have to be an electric pump, a vacuum pump should produce enough pressure.
