138/52, needle clip in the middle position, 39g or 42g weights, w/ 2000 yellow center spring. That should be about right and work well, but always remember that every bike is different. Also depends on how you (the rider) want(s) it. Make sure your a/f mixture is correct too. Improper settings can also be a cause to your problem.

Read this! Very helpfull tips on jetting. Found this in the tech-docs: http://scootrs.com/tech.cfm?tip=tunecarb

Jet down to 135 after break in. Those jets you just ordered are wayyyyyy to big. 138 is the biggest I would go.

Yup. Turn your af screw all the way in and turn um out quarter turn at a time til the rms pick back up. That's your starting point for tuning the air fuel

Top speed is not just a matter of changing gears. You must have enough horsepower to push the scooter that fast.

need moa power, HOW?

If you running a dio engine it dont matter if you cut the boost port out. I have cut the boost port on several engines and feel no defference in performance. Its not like your gonna gain 5mph and more acceleration with the boost port cut. Why dont you port and polish the cylinder and intake and then do the boost port for * and giggles. If you port the cylinder correctly you can add lows, mids, highs depending on how you port it. You can go up to 50mm BBK and that will help with a little power. But you should just fine tune your set up.

What are you trying to get?? More lows, mids, or top???????????????
