It is impossible to teach those that already know it all, even though they know nothing and will remain ignorant because so much of what they know to be fact is NOT!

It's true you can't fix stupid and your a living proof.

Why would I call maddog? You are just like him all talk and no show. :jack:

TOYS! You don't want count toys with me, you will lose big time. And I won't count them, I will have Marty of Martyandkim come over and do the count.

OH and I don't need to make things up, I've done things in my life you can't even imagine with your limited brain power.

You really are a moron at best and need to learn to read what is written and not what your fantasies are.

This is arguing with a pair of idiots, they just pulls you down to their level and beats you with experience.

High octane fuel for a stock scooter is a waste of $$ but wont hurt performance either.

Spend your money where it counts and buy some good 2t oil.

:b2t:
It is not the number of miles on the new bore that is important.

The number of times the bore is fully heat cycled is more important.

eg. 40, ten mile trips ,where the bore is allowed to completely cool down, is better that one long 400 mile trip.

It is important to vary the throttle a lot during while riding with first few tanks of gas.

I have heard that synthetic oil is not best for the break in period. But I am not sure why.

Most of my break ins have been done on full synthetic with no problems.

Though I disagree with Bears assumption that all people are stupid I must concur that premium grade gasoline does nothing for your scooter or car unless the engine was designed for high compression. All grades of gas in general have the same capacity to produce energy though high octane fuel is less likely to combust under compression without spark causing preignition , read these articles...

I have to side with bear in the fact that premium has no purpose in two strokes. I don't know remotely close to what he does but I do know that it doesn't help much. I have ran premium in my tanks and that tank actually went by faster. And if I kept doing that, the change would add up. Bear knows a crap ton and is willing to help anyone on the board that shows him a little respect. He knows what he is talking about. Get your panties out of a bunch, put on your big boy britches and enjoy your scoots.

ok here is the thing..i was attacked, insullted and disrespected just for the simple fact that I personally prefer to use premium fuel..in all my vehicles..i am fully aware that not all of them need it and that it's not required..my bmw M3 does require it bc it has a high compression performance engine as well as all my sportbikes...i use premium in all of them including my scooters ..its just kind of my ritual or what not..and * my sa50 sr goes almost 100miles on that $3.50 or so...so I just figure what's 20cents to 100miles..if it guzzled fuel I would be a different story and I probably wouldn't use it...bear blew this all waaay out of proportion bc he likes to argue over dumb stuff..its really retarted and * I even appologized at one point for sinking to that level but I guess some people just don't know when to stop...again I never told anyone they had to use or even needed premium or anything of the such.i just stated I use it and it's just 20cents more so what the *... And as far as premium and god synthetic oils "destroying my toys" that's complete b.s.

bear like others wants to make sure the correct info is posted to allow ppl to know what is the correct way not the "better" way or whatever else... just like the 2 stroke oil debates or the gear oil debats, its not trying to show your "stupid" its that the correct way is such and such ....
