I was told when i bought the motor that it was a sef but after taking the corsa off i found 2ab stamped on it. Theres no teflon inserts

meaure the rod to get an idea of what the stroke is

I think its the 43.2

dat crank is a sef COPY ministroke full counter crank it work good if u kno wat u doen but other den dat ITS shetty cuz its taiwan quality!

How do you know 43.2? but you can get wrong answer

Digital Caliper measurement will tell stroke Rod on bottom dead center.

There are many copy crank out there..

Makes power 1k rpms higher. I promised the corsa would go to my buddy already.

yes only cause i've tried both back to back and the corsa out performed by a good amount. Unless you know someone that can port the aluminum super cherry without chipping the inside bore then the malossi get chance. But out of the box performance is hands down the corsa.

Yeah ive heard otherwise. Bakaracer and sanjuro are the two of the best builders on here and they both say mhr rep is better out of box. Measured the rod its 43.2. Irie slowjah im putting a mhr malossi crank in. I just want to run this one til i can get the mhr.

yes i've heard about bakaracers builds and it seems sick, but i'm pretty sure he ports all his stuff! But i guess to each one their own, i've always liked malossi for the "HOLD" factor cause it runs a little cooler, but for top speed runs the corsa always did the job. I was able to hit 80mph with my corsa and a okumura pipe and my bore wasnt even ported at the time plus the okumura is a little on the small side. But either way i guess you gotta try for yourself and see how it goes.

None of my cylinders for my race bikes are ported. Just clean the slag and polish. I test and prove that no porting is needed on any of the cylinders being sold and that it can go fast the way it is. The only thing done is making sure the port timing is matched to a exhaust or get an exhaust that works in the cylinders port timing. I do improve the case flow as these motors suck flow wise. That's why none of the new 2stroke motors don't use that design and use the minarelli design as it works the same like how a dirt bike motor is.

thats pretty mean, i thought for sure your stuff was all ported. have you ever tried topping out any of your 72 builds? if so what speeds have you hit and with what gearing?

No as I'm not after peak top speed. I build my motors for peak hp and torque for track racing. I'm racing against vespas and lambrettas which have 125-225cc 2 stroke motors that make from 14hp-31hp but bikes weigh about 215lbs+ where mine weighs in at about 135lbs but still making way less hp.it hit 58mph coming out of a 180deg hook turn down the straight before braking within 600ft with 9to1 gears so I think its fast enough

Ahhhhhh shoulda just ran the 2ab witth the corsa til you got the new stuff in!

Ordered my malossi crank yesterday. Also cut my boost port

King, that 2ab crank is the one im using with the corsa.. Its a 44.4 butttt.. The timing is off so im going to see how it runs.. Also have to recheck compression after i add anotheer head gasket..
