I remember b4 I got mine my cousin rode it(he's 14) he was going between 15 and 20, he turned into his friends yard he thought the back brake was on the right side...he slid to the ground and fell. Oh man that was a funny day.
I've never hit any1, I've thought about it..If the moped had a spiked bumper or something that would be a different story 8)

back brake ... if someone is used to riding a peadal bike and gets on a moped of coarse they think the back brake is on the right. u got to tell then its opposit. as for my ped the back brake is on the right. i switched em up soits like my bike
