A bent or broken key normally is caused by a light torque job on the nut.

I've reused hundreds of keys and as long as the nut is torque to spec, never had a problem.
Torquing the flywheel tight jams the tapers together which is what holds everything in place. The key only makes sure it is aligned properly. At school once to prove it to a skeptical student, the instructor installed the flywheel on a 100 CID V-4 and torqued the nut, then ran the engine at 5000 RPM. Stopped it and removed the nut and run it a second time with no nut. The flywheel stayed on.

I swapped my cdi to his for testing. there was no difference. cdi was not the problem.
ur using a stock cdi for a high cc motor?
what cdi are using?is it from dio originally?
coz the oem cdi of dios have limiter on it...
im using a 2in1 coil cdi..and does not have limiter on it...
afaik oem cdi of jog has no limiter on it..i just don't know what model it is from..
btw im also using a oko 30mm carb and and our motor is almost the same cc...
unfortunately my engine blows...my piston melts...huhuhu..
* jettings...i'm still figuring out what jettings i should use for this kind of set up...
my friend told me i should not go under 150 mj for my set up..
the last jettings that i used is 138 and 45...voila..my piston melts...

None of the Honda stock CDI's in the USA, Spree on up, had limiters until the late DIOs.

no worries

as bear pointed out earlier, the taper, not the key hold ith flywheel in place.
is there an adjustable cdi for the dio?

The MSD unit can be had for around 330$ Might take a little creativity to install but thats a good price to be able to program your timing curve with a laptop.

You can have 2 separate timing curves and switch between them with a switch. Also it has a launch RPM limit.

not any of the US bikes. same for the zuma. the only thing that restricts rpm is the bore and pipe. its good to past 14k on the stock cdi

what sort of rpms should a corsa for a 96 jog see?
my friends jog with a LV pipe and a corsa bore caqn only rev to 8600 rpm.....seems really low.
