I have an 84 myself that I have been looking for a piston and rings and if you can get them oversize and what not. I havent seen anything new at all. I dont understand how Yamah parts work on a Honda ? Amazing, glad your running.

The key is the bore. The 83/84 have a piston with a 40mm bore. As long as the bore, the ring pins and the wrist pin are close you are set. For us, Yamaha has the parts. The base gasket is from a PW50 -- go figure. The piston even had the same rings and expander as the honda.
