Pully Mod (not speed)

washers
i just did this mod to my 86 spree, i weigh about 300 lbs and my scoot hits 32, baffles drilled. now the scoot just barely gets to 30 but the take off is much better. which is good for a fat * like me. the washer behind the front pulley half helps to keep the pulley alligned. but it is a good thickness for this mod, i found that it really hard to get washers so thin. but a freind told me to check out the plumbing section at the hardware store, got a washer same size, .025 thick works great. 59 cents

Gonna hafta try this.. My Spree has horribly * takeoff. It didn't have any power period, and I'm guessing it was due to the rings being fried. More torque i can get at the rear wheel, the better! (I have 5 tires on a hook in my garage, I'm a guy who likes burnouts
