I'll give that a shot, This was a new plug when I started. I'll go snap a pic of how it looks now.

Now that I took this pic it does look rich, but what seems weird to me is with the 45 pilot I need to have the air screw all the way in.

paulpauly7 wrote:id drop your pilot to a 42 maybe even a 40 and put the 95 main in with the clip one up from center.also if you google plug chop the tip colour is not a accurate reading .You need a new plug and you want to look at the ring right at the bottom of the electrode looking down into the plug.Sometimes it can be hard to see so you need to use a magnafieing glass
I. Gonna put my 95 back in and it did work well with the 95 with the needle im that very same positition ;-)

Really all our jetting is going to be different depending on where we live and temp but something will come up here. I was actually getting frustrated and called it quits for the night.

If the air screw is all the way in pauly is right on with the 40 pilot. I found the 45 was right on. But every set up is different. I swapped jets untill i could have my air screw at about 1 1/2 to 1 3/4 out to give some fine tuning range. Its just like setting up up a mix on an audio console. Its amazing how much my audio skills come on handy with motors and small engines :-)

Now i'm getting confused here, so youre saying try a 40 pilot? If I have the air screw all the way in with a 45 a 40 pilot is going to be really lean.

try the 40 i may well be so rich on the pilot that the air screw is not affecting it .Remember trail and error .do you have a temp guage if not get one they are cheap and can save your motor as you can see temps start flying up when your to lean.

my crusing temps are around the 300┬║f my wot temps are about 360ish┬║f .So any where between say 290and 380 are good if temps go above that 380 mark id start to up jet a bit as a cast bore can seize at temps over 400┬║f
