Unsafe usually equals fun B-) my spree with bbk carb and pipe is the tons of fun, when get my hands on that second spree that will be the dio spree :-) I'm stoked for sure, its gonna be epic as the kids say now ;-) how fast will that go with that setup?

with 9:1 and a 3.50x10 tire on my dio with a mini stroked ruima with mild exhaust port work and a v8 i hit 60mph. course mine isn't a swap so you might do better. And with those trans parts a wheelie will be a flick of the wrist at nearly any speed.

And you have done it very well ;-) im nuts anyway B-) every one thinks im crazy just for driving somthing so small as a spree in the first place ;-) sprees are uber rare here in my neck of the woods. Ive only seen two others since ive gotten mine. One was for sale on the online classifeds locally years ago and the other im getting for me from a friend

Update B-)
The motor showed up on the doorstep today, but I had to head out to a gig, so I couldnt look too hard at it yet. The exhaust port is huge so im sure it has a kit on it. And it has a 28mm OKO on it. Ill get the details and my parts list for the wanted for sale section to out fit the motor with the needed missing parts. What would I need to make it run off the frame. Could I hook up a coil and cdi to it and make a stand for it and fire it up?

You will never want a spree motor again other than for comparison to your new power plant. Glad you got one the DIO hype is real.

graphite9 wrote:You would need a coil and regulator and cdi. Actually you probably don't need the regulator rectifier. I'd suggest doing it in the bike. Not having a wheel/brake on the rear might cause the bike to rev sky high. I think you need some resistance on the crank. But i may be wrong.
I agree about not having a wheel and brake on the motor might be an issue, that had crossed my mind. I'm glad I asked about it. Thanks for the input :-)

I think this motor is getting another top end ;-) the boost ports arent chamfered and the exhaust port is kinda off. Image the ports can be chamfered of course, I can do that in my sleeep but i think id like to build this right if Im gonna do it at all ;-)
