opps. 49cc class. the af16 motor I think is your best bet. with some head work, a pipe ,carb, jet, intake, TALL gears. you need a expert to do the math. but yes it can be done. if I can go 50mph on my stock af16 with a bigger jet, 9to1 gears, better variator, opened exhaust and airbox. your not to far off.
paul is not for street. its for the BAD * Bonneville salt flats. a testing grounds for NO LIMITS SPEEDS.
I've driven my current car 200mph out there before and now building the car for 300mph (96 Firebird, twin turbo big block Chevy...). This is a quick, fun project to keep my hands busy while the slow trudge and expense of building a car wears on. That will not be ready until next year.
I do not drive the scooter around town so driveability is not an issue for me. Top speed only!
you need a af16 do a gear swap combineing dio primaries and symdd secondries this can get you gear ratio down to 5:1 .Some extensive porting to the cylinder a nice pipe and a 18mm mikuni carb some cvt tuning and you will acheive what you want
I don't think you need any taller than 7.83:1 Malossi primaries to top 65. Any taller and there are greater losses at the belt due to slippage. Keep the slippery salt in mind as a speed-limiting factor too.

1) received the Malossi primary gears and installed today - no problems.
2) milled the head down .015", raised the exhaust port .080" and widened by .100"
3) received new variator. tried putting the old tin cover on it but the new body is over .100" bigger in diameter so it will not fit. Are you supposed to install without the tin cover and without grease?
4) going to order 90/90/10 tire - any suggestions or good reviews?
5) going to order carb - any suggestions or good reviews?
The grease cover and grease it contains were both eliminated by Honda-san himself on later models. Not only messy, but high in Cholesterol, and poorer performance. Simplifies swapping rollers, which you may need to do. A lot, until you find the ideal mass.

compression - don't know yet, but easily variable/tunable. Still a ways away from getting everything back together. finished 5" stretch motor mount and relocated shock mount today back and up to lower the rear end. Will lower the front end as well. Small frontal area helps a ton.
Will work more on the sidecar this afternoon during the Daytona rain delay...
good photo and looking good so far ....
