Yeah I confirmed its an '85. Have the black plastic piece but it is broken. Not sure how bad, I just stuck it off to the side when I unloaded this thing. I'll still make it work rather than having the gap.

Greetings:

Ah, the ATC takes me back. Honda's three-wheeled Lawsuit magnet. Fun to ride, but the Lawyers took it away from us.
Nice clean-up on the Aero! Thanks for sharing.

Yeah it takes a little skill to ride em, super fun. Shes a beaut; reverse, elec start. pull start, I start her up every now & then. Dont ride it too often. Only 8,500 made & not all came to the US. :-)

Son of a broomstick!! Just felt like randomly checking craigslist and whalla!! I found another '85 aero. White, all plastics & runs. Looks a little rough and someone spraypainted it white poorly. Wants $400 I probably could of got it cheaper. But oh well, I like my "lil red" project. this always happens to me. Arghh (wonder if I could buy his plastics) :-O

I believe this sticker explains the super low mileage & the clean engine. I found the torque chart that says 7-9ft lbs on the head bolts.

Got more done tonight with a big box of parts from imomo713. Awesome guy who took the time with me and supplied alot. Packaged great! & labeled nuts & bolts!!! A++

got the tank on, seat on. Hooked up a random taillight. Which works!! No brake indicator yet. Blinkers work. Horn works! Low oil light works. Swapped out broken left controls that had broken hi-low switch & the blinker cover. Which is still a little crooked. temporarily put on exhaust. Threw on the head & needs tobe torqued. More to come. Sorry I forgot to look for the airbox cover, also didnt realize you needed a taillight I should have one in decent condition. Make another checklist of what else you may need.

Update, ordered an oem petcock. Threads were too big on the one I got. I got some fuel lines locally.
Cleaned old carb with vinegar & came out beautiful. Put it on. Robbed the bystarter from the ebay carb. Installed that. I just need to splice the green & yellow lines. Put airbox on just need to order the filter & cover. Now to the pics!!! ÔåôÔåôÔåôÔåôÔåôÔåôÔåôÔåôÔåôÔåô :-D
