i wouldnt spend to much time worrying about the cdi. your main priority should be rejetting the carb before you blow up the scooter. just my $.02

jareeb is correct upjet to at least a 85 main jet and a temp guage if you decide to keep riding with buying the cdi .

from 75 to a 85? i bought a open air filter thats commin in soon. it has 78, 80, 82, 85, 88

open air filter may require larger than 88 .Get your self a temp guage they are cheap and available from Graphite here on the forum .
