Cool man, hopefully if you manage to clear the short to ground on the black/white wire you should be in business ;)

Theres a real good section for all the electrics at the back of the service manual(available in the tech docs section)on testing the coil, cdi, charging, lamp and pulse generator coils ect. Pretty easy to follow your way through too

Looking forward to hearing how you get on ;)

Ultra, did not want to leave you hangin on here. I ended up having to work late last night and getting into wiring in my car actually. (As I've stated before electricity and I don't go well together haha) I will head out to the shop Saturday now. I am hoping that at that point I will have her runnin. From there all kinks can be sorted out. Also I have been looking for the service manual because I always lose it so thank you. I should probably read it. Updates coming as soon as I can get back to the scoot!

Alrigght ultra, you've successfully diagnosed my problem over the Internet! When I tested the black and white wire to the kill switch against the frame I had resistance. With that being said I got spark and the problems and got bigger. I will post in detail what I've found on a new post. It is a completely separate issue now lol I can't tell you how much I appreciate your patience and guidance!
