Can get disk brake conversion for cheaper than 600.00 Check Forumshawaii or George at Cycle Import Hawaii has one in the showcase for 500.00 i think.

So I got the scooter late tuesday night. has great accelleration but then tops out at 35mph. checked the variator but it had no plate behind it next step is to check the exhaust to see if it has been derestricted.has quite a few scratches and a couple of cracks. but engine seems to be good. I took a look at the plug and the color looks good. Need to get an air filter cause I opened up the airbox and there wasn't one in there. Another thing I noticed is that It doesn't smoke at all, I thought that was kind of odd for a 2stroke cause I had an old jog and it always smoked a little when it ran.
Haven't really had a chance to ride it much cause it's been raining like crazy round here, but probably not as much as it's been in the midwest.
I also need to replace the roller weights cause they are pretty worn out,
Does anyone know what the weight on the stock rollers are? thanks guys

i think stock is 8 grams, but i would get a bunch and play around with it, and also i would drain the gas and oil and put fresh in, you never know what kind of oil the last person was running they could have been running the wrong oil

Just an update. Bike is completely disassembled and I cleaned and degreased everything. had caked on 2stroke oil everywhere. I also realized that the threads on the the crankshaft(variator side) are severely stripped. I was looking into a 72cc bore kit and was considering the polini corsa(275.00) or a metrakit handmade kit(170.00). I looked around for info on the metrakit but could not find any good or bad reviews. If anyone has used this kit before and has any feedback it would be greatly appreciated,Also I need a new crankshaft and I am debating whether I should go with a stock size or maybe a mini stroker. I don't how compatible the mini stroker would be with either of the kits I'm looking into. Will post pics of disassembly soon but my son killed my camera
