myelite had a blocked idle jet and it just idled through the main jet. so it would race.

That info really helped me to better understand all the intricut workings of the carb. and your picture showed me exactly part of my problem...now its back to removing again and cleaning that small hole in bowl...thanks a bunch guys...Smitty
