Let's see, if milling the head and porting the exhaust, both free, are too much work I'll go with putting it on Craig's list for free to the first taker. It will go really fast then.

i put the reeds from an 87 and the exaust from the 87 on my 84 tonight it was way faster and didint loose any power at wot

But yours is an Iowa Spree which was crippled to meet their 25mph law back then. The rest of the USA had the big stuff for the 30 mph everywhere else. So your mod only helps the Iowa model.

taking the air skrew out won't make it go 40. I'd know, mine fell out while driving.....the only diff. i noticed was that the carb sounded different.......and then i had to wait a month fer a new air skrew.
