The link tells it all about the BearKat. I had never heard of it. Not fond of Tecumseh, but that could be replaced. Looks to me like it "could" be rough on the family jewels. But that was when we were young and tough, and men were men. I guess that's what my buddy was copying when he transformed his husky.

Yes, there appears to have been quite a few of these off-road minibikes in the 50's.
