the petcock's working just as it should now, but the damned scooter is still idling high. also, when accelerating, it'll randomly lose some power, make a kind of "ticking" noise instead of putting power to the wheel, and then regain again :/

24 hours in gasoline didn't fix it, a 30 minute sit in paint thinner didn't fix it, 15 minutes of blowing it out with an air hose didn't fix it, but an extra 24 hours in gas did!
