Well, I'll be jiggered. It's kinda dark in there but I'll take your word for it.

Now you need JoeBob's grocery sack hook.

Helmet hook?! Where!
Yeah, what Helmet hook? I've got one on my Helix but never seen one on a 49er.
Right where the seat attaches to the gas tank.

Indeedy! That li'll plastic protuberance is eggzackerly where Mr Scooterist With Shapely-Leg Sig sez it is.

In fact, HondaSan emblazoned a 'hint' on these ol' 49erz. But the ravages of time and chemical attack often take their toll on this decal, afixed beneath the seat, port side body pannel:

"Helmet Hook"

Cushman. Husky. AllSnake. Musical words from my lost youth, evoking forgotten dreams of mounting up, kicking over, and taking off.

Alas, I was doomed to remain a peddler of a Schwinn Continental, as my scooter joy rides were limited to the legends in my own mind.

Translation: 'Da parents were vehement opponents of the 8" wheel.

Now that I can understand. My parents objected too, but it wasn't because of the little wheel. It was because of money.

I got my Schwinn when my best friend got his Cushman Eagle and sold me his old Schwinn for $5. I had a twice weekly small town paper route and could afford that. My friend pitched big city paper which published daily and 10 times the volume.
