I recently acquired another Aero 50 with low compressing and had a similar swap idea, as I have a spare Aero 125 chassis and motor sitting in storage, I need something to keep up better with my partner's Aero 125.
How do you like the performance? I had an Aero 50 with a big bore on it before, I'm hoping that something of this displacement should be very... spirited.
My idea for an engine mount and wiring are a little different from yours, I'm also considering running just one shock like the original motor to keep more of the glove box, the shock mount on the 125 motor looks strong enough to support the weight on one side.
I'll be interested to see what you think once I get started (and start a thread).
