I'm not sure but maybe your spree carb fuel bowl will fit, at least to test it.

Oh, i thought you were parting it out. Leave it alone then. Send me your address again and i'll send a gasket to see if that's the problem.

I'm sending a carb and throttle cable to martynkim. Anyone know why my SE50P carb comes with a #85 main jet but the SE50 comes with a #82 main? Is it because of the restricted exhaust?

Greetings:

Could some P.O. Have swapped jets? Stock on a lot of "P" models was 68.

Maybe the p/o did some de-restricting and upjetting - or a swap to a SE50 carb?

The Service manual says its an #82 on the SE50P... Carb tag is PA31D for the 50P, PA31 E for the non-restricted.

Funny, i look on cyclepartsnation and it's switched around...se50 = #82 and se50p = #85. My carb is off an se50p and has the #85. martynkim got a replacement jet and it's a #82? I can't check the carb tag, it's in the mail on the way to martynkim

Greetings:

It wouldn't be the first time that a parts bin spilled into another. The incorrect jet fits just as easily as the correct one. If Assembly Line Worker Mitsuko doesn't physically inspect the jet before screwing it, the customer gets a very rich-running "P"-model. Intuitively, a bigger jet specified for a lower-revving restricted-exhaust scooter sounds like a specs table typo. It wouldn't be the first time that happened either!
