Yeah, I dialed in in with the a/f screw today and it runs excellent.
Before I adjusted it when the bystarter was on it was soo rich it almost flooded.
Thanks bakaracer!

So after about 150 miles of riding somewhat tame, I think I am going to start tuning it to run at a higher rpm.
Right now I have got my rollers at 8g and I would estimate about 6,000 rpm, pretty low, but about double the hill climbing ability of my stock bore.
I am going to drop to 7s today and see what happens.

I'm just not gettin the crazy wheely low end performance that I want, I'm thinking I might have rollers slightly off.
With my current setup, 1.5 k spring and all, what weight of weights would you use on your 72cc scoots?

I didn't think you could get easy wheelies with 9:1 gears unless you were running something like a 120cc cylinder kit.

accually you can just slightly out from take off.If you got the clutch tuned with the right springs and a good roller setup it will wheelie pretty good.

Sweet, that's good to know since I have 9:1 gears too.

It almost wheelies, sometimes it even does, and then I let off in panic. Maybe ill step up to a 2k rear center and keep my 2k clutch grabbers. Would that be advisable?

I took a spin on the elite, definately the longest ride yet, and power seems to be rapidly improving over already exceeding my expectations. 7grollers seem to be right for my setup with a lot of power pretty much everywhere.
Although I did a little speedo burrying today after about 160 miles, the bore seems to be breaking in quite well.
Thanks for everyone who helped out with info, couldn't have been done without you all.
One question..
The polini 72 cc has a 47mm bore, mine has 48, is this some sort of 73cc in between size? Haha.

I pull wheelies all day with 6.9:1 gears, 9:1 should be easy as pie

Hey everyone, I. Really want a temp gauge for my elite, what do you guys use? Perferably something cost effective that I might be able to buy in store(not online)
Send me advice / links please!
Thanks
