Like mousewheels said, owners manual says SE50 is #85 and SE50P is #82. Funny how cyclepartsnation.com lists it backwards and so does mrcycles.com only mrcycles.com has #85 and #82 listed under 87 SE50P.

I was going to ask which model you had but figured someone would reply "SE50...it's in the title of thread". Look under your seat and see if there is a sticker with model # on it. Could you post a pic of your exhaust pipe? How fast are you looking to go?

I thought you'd say that

. I got mine to 47 mph in modified stock form or you can go over 60 mph with aftermarket parts, i'll let wheelman tell you about the aftermarket path.
Did you find out what model you have?

The SE50P is restricted. Muffler, variator and a different final reduction are some differences to make it slower.
An interesting thing about the jets and SE50P's I found - there are 2 flavors of 50P. Restricted, and Really Restricted (Iowa).
SE50P A AF121*HS000001 to HS 012411 uses an #85 jet, Carb Tag PA31E
SE50P AA AF122*HS000001 to HS002000 (Iowa) uses the #82 jet, Carb Tag PA31K
Check out your VIN tag and find out what SE50P you've got, but odds are you dodged the Iowa bullet.

Variator...get a keli. Daywot on Ebay. Tell him you need a ramp plate too (around $10 for plate)
Muffler...get a stock SE50 pipe...performance if you go big bore.
Gears...i got 47 mph using SE50P gears.
I didn't know about the 10:1 gears at the time.
and i'm not sure what tooth ratio makes 10:1. The SE50 driveshaft is 12 teeth and the SE50P driveshaft is 13 teeth. Maybe that's the 10:1.
I recommend stock SE50 pipe. chevyguyjay bought a new Proma from me and performance was not anything to talk about. His SE50 pipe was modified, i'll give him a call and see if he still has it. He might sell it.
Heres a pipe on Ebay that you need. Ummmm looks like you get all 4 of them! See how the head pipe gets bigger before going into muffler? Now look at yours....skinny all the way (your pic didn't show head pipe).

Your variator most likely has a flat ramp plate unless someone replaced that. The SE50 ramp plate isn't flat which pushes belt higher for more top end. Keli variator pushes belt even higher for more top end and if previous owner swapped flat ramp plate for SE50 plate, you can use stock plate in a Keli.
