Why was the glove box cut open ?

to fit the triple tree for the disc brake swap

Oh yeah lol duh. That looks great! I would love to do disc brakes. The little drums are not very effective over 50mph

modified a inner fender to keep the dirt out
now waiting on a custom brake line I ordered
than I can put it together
and hopefully ride it
50 degree temps are called for in Michigan for the next week

disc swap done
now on to some other stuff than
the bike is going to need a good cleaning
than some better pictures master cylinder fit under the plastic like I planned

put on the stage 6 intake really moves the carb closer to the center of the bike
and towards the front of the bike
there is lot more room from the carb to the side skirt
and my air filter fits a lot better
about 1/2 inch of clearance compared to the 1/8 inch I had before

the cons of the intake so far
I wont be able to change jets without removing the kick start cover
had to grind the top of the boss (red arrow)so the float bowl wouldn't hit
that is how far in the carb sits

kick stand fits really good took the center stand off (after the pic was taken)
other than that 50+ degrees Saturday
time to put some gas in it and ride
and stop a whole lot faster
a lot of repeated info for quicker future refrence

new front tire put on . swapped old front to rear at 4460 miles
so there is 1459 miles on front tire and there is 4,469 miles on swapped rear tire
new belt at 4255 miles on the odometer so there is 1664 miles on belt

6007 miles on bike
