Ah i see.
Could i CNC some head gaskets out of .032'' aluminum sheet and stack em up until the compression is around 125 psi?
Or do the head gaskets need to be stamped out to have that little ridge/lip on em?

Re: AF16E Spree swap, summer project!
Alright after some research i've decided to make one head gasket (.125'' thick) out of aluminum and cut a groove in it to slide a second o-ring in.
That way i can get away with making one big head gasket without a squish zone of it.
I'm also going to make a 3/8'' spacer for both halfs of my tranny cover out iof aluminum sheet because of the ZX trans.
Only thing is i had to get the aluminum in bulk...like a 120''x12'' sheet
Soooo if anyone wants me to make them either of these i can do it for cheap. It'll all be done by a CNC machine. I'll put pics of mine up once i have them done to show ya. Or if you want anything else CNC'ed just PM me and we can figure it out.

Re: AF16E Spree swap, summer project!
If you make a base gasket insted of a head gasket you could lower compression and raise your port timing.
Just using one regular 47mm aluminum head gasket along with the o-ring on a polini should do the job too.

Yes i know but i've heard raising the port timing is a bad deal. I dont want my powerband to shift up higher into the RPM range. Where it is is great, i just want that little extra *umph* from the mini strokerTrafficjamz wrote:If you make a base gasket insted of a head gasket you could lower compression and raise your port timing.

Get the smaller ministroke 43mm not the 44mm and put a 47mm aluminum head gasket on top of what you have.

And you may want taller gears after the ministroke swap.....dont wanna over rev it

Huh, he must have it tucked away in his secret nuclear bunker then
The Ruima one is 44.1 and is the smallest one i can find.
As for taller gears, i'll figure that one out when it comes to it. I might just up the weights in the vari a bit to get by until i figure it out.
Regardless, these are the correct tools to get?

I have to cut Decepticon symbols into my friends 2012 Mustang fog light covers and then i'm ready to start CNC'ing the new pieces
