I have decided to go an easier/cheaper route and use this roller for parts/frame http://www.pccmotor.com/rolling-chassis ... -xr50.html

I will drop in the honda 50 engine and lengthen the frame in front, rear swingarm, and add some length to the rear subframe to accommodate a passenger seat.

The build will be a "scooter/moped" for Missouri. I am looking forward to the honda 4 stroke engine, it should be very reliable!

Got some initial work done for one of my builds. I laced a 17" motorcycle rim into a Marzocchi 20mm front hub with 10ga stainless motorcycle spokes. Tires are Shinko 17x2.5 DOT rated dual sports. The fork is an 03 Marz Super Pro.

Thanks boss. The front wheel rides really solid on my electric street bike. I was taking it off some big stairs last night.

So I figured I should update this thread with the various craps I have been up to. I took a XR50 motor and china pit bike and made a runner for a while. Then I got tired of it and started doing stuff. Maybe I should let the pics talk. Next up is a new rear suspension pivot, better chain tensioners, a moped gas tank (needs a petcock), some paint, and lower footpegs. I also have a 80cc kit that is waiting for an install.

Laced up the front wheel and built up the frame myself. The "stock" parts are the engine, fork, rear end, and engine cradle. Looks like I don't have an updated pic with the fully finished frame, I added some down tube-ish supports and changed the steering angle.

Here is the next incarnation of the bike. Still needs a new seat and some other bits. I am working on getting a few 3w LEDs in the headlamp for some long time shine. I currently use a little Lithium Iron battery for the 12v light source.

Not exactly a scooter, but it is just as fun to ride and it is still 50cc.

Very creative! That Mini-Motard does look like fun, but it's hard to see the scale without a reference point. Are your knees tucked under your chin?

Also I'll bet you're on good terms with the neighbors. Otherwise they might object to the noise...

It is bigger than my spree, if that tells you anything. It is about the size of a 150cc motorcycle, without the weight. Not so mini anymore.

I am on good terms with the neighbors. I won't be taking midnight rides without a silencer on it though. My electric bikes are for night rides anyway. Ninja stealth!
