There's something very strange about the difference in spree speeds. I have never been on a long enough stretch to get mine all the way up to speed. I've gotten it up to 33 M.P.H but it still wants to inch up ever so slightly before I'm slowed by the end of the street. Maybe climate is a factor, less humidity and mild / cool climate = better performance? I know it was when I raced Go Karts. I weigh 168.

well you are right scoot2er the weather makes a diff on how the engine runs in any vehicle..optimum temp is 70 degrees but as we all may experience the winters brings the gas mileage down in automobiles because colder air kills it.

cold air kills it ? i dont think so b/c i rode my elite in the snow and it was like 20 outside and it ran fine.

Cold air brings down your gas mileage, hot weather reduces engine speed and performance. I always ran a little better @ 80 degrees rather than 100.

i guess that it makes sence since my elite over heated at the woodward cruise.

i drilled out my baffles it gave me +1 mph and a lot of acceleration
its alot louder now but i mostly use it at drag races to get around faster and its pretty hard to say my spree is loud when someone starts a nitro funny car 10 feet away

Do the SeaFoam carb trick, I get 40 all day long from that shizzle.

I don't really understand where the holes are supposed to be drilled.
A picture would be nice.
