yeah. make a little mounting clip inside where the speedo housing sits. and maybe even fabricate a glass door over the top, with magnifying glass. so you get an instantly bigger display.

Yup just get the foretrex 101 so you can change the batteries. The 201 you have to recharge..

is that better then just recharging it?

for me it is cause what if your batteries run out on a cruise. Then you can just change it plus how long is the life of a rechargable. I just don't wanna one day have a garmin i need to buy a battery for that might cost more than the garmin itself
