spree variator

Re: spree variator
thats fine ill keep working on it my self everyone else can do a motor swap cause thats the easy option so i guess thats the end of this thread vari for the spree is apparently impossible or to hard to do just like you cant make a spree do 45 huh

Re: spree variator
Where the * did you get they idea that it is impossible? I don't see where anyone said that. I did see that a crank change is impractical but if I was willing to change a crank, I would just swap in one of the variated AF05 engines I have. Way less hassel.ae86guy wrote:thats fine ill keep working on it my self everyone else can do a motor swap cause thats the easy option so i guess thats the end of this thread vari for the spree is apparently impossible or to hard to do just like you cant make a spree do 45 huh![]()

You just sound like a whiny little 10 year old girl because others want a practical variator and not a tear the motor down to nothing and start over project.
Oh and who appointed you the thread ender?

Re: spree variator
I can make a spree do 45. And yes, it is hard to do.ae86guy wrote:thats fine ill keep working on it my self everyone else can do a motor swap cause thats the easy option so i guess thats the end of this thread vari for the spree is apparently impossible or to hard to do just like you cant make a spree do 45 huh
I am totally willing to try to adapt a variator to a nq50.
I am currently trying to put a variator on a sb50 (elite e) and it is very spree like.
Don't give up, but don't expect the spree variator to be a money maker at all.

Re: spree variator
Trafic if you get a design or fab an exsisting variator onto the elite e it will work on the spree as well. Let me know if you come up with anything. And yes you are correct spree parts will not make you rich. hehe
And 45mph from a spree engine is no problem. An expansion chamber pipe, intake adapter,48mm BBK, and 15*82 gears will eaily do the trick. We are trying to address the acceleration issue with a variator. Top end is not the issue of this thread. So buzz
off mate. hehe

Re: spree variator
ae86guy I still love my elite sr. Remember I have a real dio engine. lol. Don't take our spree upgrades and ideas the wrong way but you seem to take joy in thinking the spree variator is a closed case. I could swear this is Hondaspree.net not hondadio.net.

The variated AF05E crank fits the elite E engine case, but not the spree case.tazland001 wrote:Trafic if you get a design or fab an exsisting variator onto the elite e it will work on the spree as well. The rear pulley/clutch will still need to be changed out to make the variator work right.

ae86guy. Homie dont take things so personal. We all need to work together on any ideas we have regardless what the project is. If you have a 3 roller variater you think could possibly work on the spree that would be great and I am looking forward to the pics. I have a few ideas myself on a design. The problem for me is I don't have any machine tools or there is no one in my small town that does. Looking forward to the pics ae86guy.

You can't let bear's comments get you worked up.
I would like to help make the nq50 get up a go better...... * I own a half a dozen of them.
Let me know what you come up with. We can all work together.
