IÔÇÖm sorry if i dont easily comprehend some of things that you know all about... i dont get much time on the computer so when i do im always rushing .. dont you think instead of saying that i suck at reading, you could post something more productive so i understand better, to benefit me with my spree problem and know exactly what im doing before i go ahead and look for the problem when i dont know what im looking for? So to your way of thinking I should just answer your question again. Ahhh, Nope that is not gonna happen. I was 15 once and if I didn't pay attention I heard about just like you did. So suck it up, shut up and learn from your mistakes.

According to your own words you have a limited amount of time on the computer, yet you waste time not reading others answers to your questions and then waste more time asking the question again. You logic is badly flawed also. You waste more time whining about being wrong and blaming others because you can't admit you are wrong. And after this little exercise I now am sure you screwed up the carb assembly and that is why you have a problem, but of course you will not admit that either. I'm done, one can't teach those who refuse to learn from their own mistake or from others.

Yes, it's easy to ask. But you're not listening. That is the problem.

I'm still convinced that your slide's in backwards. In fact, more so.

Come back to us later with some pictures of your carb. Try to get a good one looking into the carb from the air cleaner. Those will be worth 100 of these posts.

Its either your slide is in backwards, you have a junk gasket where your intake buts up against your engine block, or the plastic gasket between your intake and carb could be on wrong or the rubber seal in that gasket could be riped or missing (resulting in vacumm leaks which causes high idle). If worse comes to worse download or print out the whole service manual off this site and it should answer all your questions!

Yes, The o-ring on the spacer goes against the manifold, the carb o=ring seals to the spacer. You can also install thr insulator (spacer) upside down and yes it can cause a vacuum leak.

Yea. If you look at your intake hole and put the gasket up against it you will know what way it goes because if its not correct the holes on the intake and gasket will not line up.

There's a little arrow on the thermal decoupler (otherwise known as the brown plastic thing) that you should be able to see and should point forward if the thing is installed correctly.

There are 3 ways to install it wrong of a total of 4... something like 1/2 the bikes I work on have it installed wrong.

Correct installation of the carb insulator is easy, 2-step process:

1. "Dog Ears": Downward.

2. Don't duplicate the o-rings.

If there was something wrong with the reeds you would have trouble keeping the engine running at low rpms. It would not be idling too high as you described.
