how much time do i got from the time i turn off the bike to the time i check the plug? its kind of hard to get at.

no time limit. just don't restart the engine.

As long as you do not restart the engine, as long as you want to take. The plug will not change sitting there.

FYI, DO NOT CLOSE the throttle until after you have shut off the ignition with the Run/Stop switch (using the key is a poor choice running at WOT). Otherwise you can get erroneous readings.

the sparkplug pic shows a bpr6hs. if you do a lot of wot you might want to change to a bpr8hs
