For someone who is quoting experiences so often, I would think you would recognize someone elses. This is not theory. It is real world that I have been using for years. I am not talking about just reving the engine, winding it out is taking the revs up by the max.

You obviously have no clue how little air it takes to rev and unloaded engine compared to a loaded engine. What it does unloaded except at idle has nothing to do with down the road performance.

Has nothing to do with the performance except for the limits.

Easy Yogi, just curious. Not saying I was on to something but the guy had a question and I figured I would try to diagnose in my minds eye. Not saying it is the best way, but if it did not hit RPMS on the stand then it does give us a easy place to start adjusting from (the stand).

at 89 lbs of comp. i would say re ring it and start from there if the clutch and belt are new then go for motor new rings cant be but 20 or 30 bucks

$26 for rings when I did it this summer. $8 for gaskets. Honing might cost you some too.

i hone my own use a brake caliper honer its perfect for a 5occ jug

Hello I have this other elite 50, and it's super duper slow. Is this normal it take for ever to get to 25 it's an 88' ES.

Still can't figure out this issue. Neither can my honda dealer.

Put a number on forever. Is it 15 seconds for 0-20 mph acceleration?

What did your Honda dealer say when you told them you were 20psi below the minimum compression spec?
