Jetting down procedure?

Post by Madman »

Sorry I edited the post I eased the
Clip not the needle leaning out the main! I have no cht yet I'm waiting on delivery! so I noticed the temp went noticeably high when in the pilot range and was popping a lot on take off indicating lean conditions I (think) and it has Run much smoother since jet size was increased in pilot I'll get another photo of plug now!

so where do you have the needle clip now? also did you check compression? your running a 50mm kit now.unless your using high octane race fuel, you better check that compression or KABOOM!!! use carb clean to check for leaks too. you had split that block so spray everywhere along the seams and intake manifold. the ct mani gaskets are known to leak. you wont see oil because its sucking air not blowing.

what is airfuel screw set at?

1 1/2 turn out is rich.

2 1/2 is lean.

get a b8hs plugs.

if the motor pop on the take off. it the pilot jet or grams little to heavy

pop noise is the jets need to be tunes.

pop noise cause the spark plug to foul, just like misfire. make sure the ngk boot cap is flush in good.

need to use 92 gas.

The long hose is the reason the numbers are so low.
