Any clutch.
a long ride without starting and stopping should not make your clutch bell hot.

Went for a 5 miles ride real quick, not too many stop and goes. Malossi wing bell does get hot enough to not hold. Maybe the other bells are different.

Greetings:
Two people measuring temperature by hold-ability won't give useful comparisons. Individuals have different skin, sensory perception, tolerance. HF sells an affordable laser temp gauge . I will measure and post after riding unless someone beats me to it.

I let mine cool for 60 seconds then tried. Still to hot for handling and I imagine if I touched it as soon as the ride was over it would have been worse. I was able to touch it tho for sure, just like you said.
But it wasn't 175 degrees warm for sure, I'd guess around 150. I brought my temp gun to the shop or I'd have temped it yesterday.
To say the least it was cooler than I expected as daily experiences at the shop un winged bells are insanely hot. In a big way you're right about being able to touch a winged or slotted bell after a short ride. I'm taking one of the elites to work today and it's around 20+ miles and I'll temp it when I get to the shop.
Good work with being brave enough to touch your bell when I wouldn't have. Also if the naraku was shaved down correct and evenly maybe it's not such a bad bell after all if you can grab it after a 30 mile ride.
Unlike most I'll admit when I'm wrong.

Fwiw I've found several yamaha bells that have a wobble. For yamaha Koso vented/stage 6, polini speed bell, and the monster prodigy bell all have an offset wobble when you spin the wheel and you watch the bell.

My stage6 bell cools very quickly. I've never touched it immediately after riding but have definitely noticed that it was touchable after only a few minutes when changing rollers after a ride. I had a bell on my af05 that stayed hot forever though.

Fwiw, my lighter evo 2 bell stays very hot after a 24 mile ride compared to the malossi wing bell. The stage 6 is a koso copy also fwiw. Or they commissioned koso for it like they do a lot of their parts. I don't believe stage 6 does much by them selves besides rebrand parts.

Stage 6 bores are awesome, the lc for the speedfight is going to rock.
I have a motoforce bell that isn't quite jiving like the naraku. I believe they are Spanish. It looks killer but I have about the same distance to shave off as the naraku. The motoforce isn't a cheap bell.

He can add the motoforce to the list of does not fit with out modifications for sure.
By the 10th page he can go back through and make a decent list I bet. Regardless of arguments something good will come from this lengthy topic.
If it works it works, I question the methods but in the end it'll be interesting.

I know it was said but the polini evolution fits over the polini 3g and 2 shoe very well. It cools decent, light weight, and looks like it will last a long time.

The stage 6 clutch is by far the most superior clutch yet, followed by malossi delta, closely followed by 3g, and 2 shoe is ok but I think it's more for drag racing.
That's all just my opinion based on a few years of use on all but the stage 6. But I have set up 2 stage 6 clutches and run one on my fabrizi with very good results.

I really like my stage6 clutch a lot so far. But I think I'm gonna pick up a Malossi winged bell to use as the stage6 is very light. I have a polini 2 shoe as well and I ran that on my af05 set up I liked that to but didn't have near the adjustability, and I think your right about it being more of a drag race clutch as it grabs hard. I only used it for a short time though.

I'd just let the little dude have his page and walk away rather than even argue and waste time and mental state.

Code I hope you understand your rambling and snarky comments make you look like a moron who stirs the turd to be the center of attention. I've read most of your posts and found very little info that is actually true and worthwhile. This site is to help people and quite honestly 1man and G9 have posted more valuable info than you have and or will. I don't know what your deal is but for the sake of all of us please stop with all the high school bull * that is taking up valuable space on the server. You act like you know everything but never post anything of real value. I've tried to stay out of all of crap you post but I for one and I'm sure most others on here are tired of reading it. Thanks have a nice day
