I don't know if its due to moisture, the constant change in voltage, vibrations, the very bumpy ride or all of the above. but im on my 5th cd player on it
i would also like to regain my back rack
ive seen a few set ups like this and also thought of makin a custom fiberglass box that mounted to my rack... but i didnt want some big and bulky back there..
And as far as the issues with the cd player.. if you are runnin like walkman portables you will always have issues...
If u hooked up a car stereo than u will prob go through batteries like mad... they take quite a bit to run... thats what brought me to the idea of just a simple Mp3 player.. nothin fancy... i did buy one with a built in Equalizer ... but it cost me 50 bux used...
works great... NEVER skips and the battery last for at least one day use..
If u wanna keep you rear set up...just get some old computer speakers that have a head phone jack on them and plug them into a cheap MP3 lol
No cds not skip just RIDE

That is awsome looking. I have been trying to find a way to get a radio on my Aero but I have no room because mine has a glove box on it. Im thinking im going to have to put one on the rack like no one wants to do but I dont have many options. Keep up the work it looks insane!

If you dont use the glove box... use it as a partial enclose for some speakers.. just fiberglass around it...

Sorry I saw the word Walkman and had to chime in.
I could see having problems with some of the older Walkmans with skipping and stuff but some of the newer ones are pretty nice. I own a few of them and have actually tried to make some of the newer ones skip with no luck.
Ok so I own over a few, I probley have around 35-40 Discmans and probley around 15-20 Walkmans, its been awhile since I counted them all. I have a fetish with radio's mostly, theres over 300 radio's in my house. Maybe someday I will make a post on it if anybody wants to see some of them.
Ok anyways back to topic.......
