I just ordered high speed pulley from VTCycles. 3-5 day shipping. My rollers were also flat to the metal core!

well i decided to grab the intake mani to see about any porting options, and i realized that the reeds (?) are pretty much stuck to it. I ended up cracking the corner of the plastic base off.
question:
will it not run right now like this?
or
should i just leave this alone and rebuild it stock with this reed, and then when i get the big bore kit + 28mm carb get a new reed (or i have to get a new mani to fit the new carb...?)
thanks guys

Wont run like that, you need a mani and reeds for the new carb. Call up VT and tell em what you have to spend/what you want to do, they should be able to get you a nice setup.

Might, you will know if it cant, idk if that much seal will take the crank pressure/vacuum for long.

You know I have this piece too right?
Extra $10 and I can throw it in with the other parts, LMK
And yes for stock application it wont seal right and you would have a small leak by that bolt hole.

can't do free man, you're already getting the crank and bore super cheap
2stroke explained with reedvalve:

planning on it.
Are their shipping charges alot?
i was planning on ordering a variator/carburator/intake from them once i figured out what i needed.
i guess i might just go ahead and order an exhaust and variator now, and carb and intake on another order.
