Did you try freeing it with PB like I told you?
Haha yeah I did, but it was nearly impossible. It definitely helped though! Without PB I'd still be clueless as to how I'd get the d*** piston off of the crank.
sometimes the damage isnt too bad and you can run it as is.

'85 Aero w/'87 Elite engine 62cc Proma bore & chamber exhaust, Kitaco manifold w/18mm Mikuni carb, Daytona high speed pulley, 8.5? : 1 gears.
Was doing 50+, but now it's not. Currently doing only around 48 MPH..

It's been sitting for years now, so it looks like I'll need to do some maintenance...
'87 Spree w/'94 Dio engine ported Malossi 72cc, Proma chamber exhaust, 28mm Keihin flat slide carb, Daytona high speed pulley, ZX trans, Daytona clutch springs & center spring, 6.475:1 gears.
50++ MPH. Fast enough for me. Absolutely no idea what the top speed is...

I'm trying to see how fast I can get my Pal (JDM Spree) to go with the original motor. If I put a Dio motor in it then it's not a Pal with a Dio motor, it's a Dio with a Pal body. From what I've seen and done so far I don't think the Spree/Pal will do much over 60 mph on level ground, if it will get that fast. The big limitation is the gearing. The motor just isn't going to be good for much over 11k rpm and there is only so much you can do with the Pal/Spree trans. My goal is 100 kph (62 mph). There are lots of 50cc scooters that will do that but the Pal/Spree was built from the ground up to do 25 or 30 mph so it's a bit of a stretch. Even with nitrous you still have the problem of how fast the motor will turn around and stay in one piece.
So far I'm up to 45 mph. The current project is porting the cylinder and possibly 55cc big bore, if I can round up the piston to do it.

2000 Elite S: Got it going 40 mph with the exhaust opened up near the cylinder and removing the clutch varator limiter. Highly recommended. I then bought a throttle cable that has the oil pump cable on it. Run synthetic oil and 38-40 mph! Cool. I started at 25 mph. Bumming, it is starting hard after it sits for a few days though. What's up?????

AHHHHHHH!!!! BAD ELITE RIDER! BAD!
What did you use for the pre-mix???

Before you start it after a few days open the carb drain valve. If nothing or very little comes out then the carb is simply dry. Mine has started doing this since the temps started getting into the 100s.

1986 Honda Spree brought back from the dead - I found it sitting in this guys yard driving by and he said it had been there quite awhile.
Now since I repaired the top end I'm hitting 35-37 on level ground thanks to police radar and being pulled over for the brake light being out
The best Spree I've had yet.

What.. thats it?!? seems low out of a turbo..
I've topped my v6 N/A Dodge Avenger with only slight mods at 128mph, but if you don't have the room to play with I don't blame you, topping out a car isn't the smartest thing to do anyway lol

stock clutch.
and i didnt like the smell too much
plus i wasnt exactly on a "suitable" road to be doing those speeds.
im sure with a new clutch, and a good road, it would do 145.

Pre-mix... what's that? ahaha
I'm just messing with you. I was using 50:1, but this tank I didn't have it on me and I figured the stock pump would do it's job enough to let me go 60 for a little less than a minute.
