Greetings:
You may indeed need a larger main jet. I ran a 91 for a while on my Polini 65cc Aero. Turns out it was too lean to support the extra RPM which the pipe and open filter allowed. Prolonged WOT produced a high speed stumble and power loss. Repeated application may cause seize.
#95 main cured the issue, now runs 50MPH. Plug is Nestle Qwik-colored. Considering trying the 96 main just for grins, but right now Flash seems pretty happy with the mixture.
PM me for stock 88 Keihin main and a mini-set of drills to 101 if you like.

the guy from VT said it should give me over 5mph on a completely stock bike, and that I probably won't have to rejet, so we'll see
how will I know if I do need to jet up?
go look @ a plug color burn white/grey lean and golden brown is good dark brown to black - rich .
need to ride about 2 miles. then look at a spark plug.
no matter what parts change , need to tune , trail/error. Not like bolt on and go.

the kit WAS a 90cc. I got it off ebAY FROM A SELLER NAMED CHOPSHOP*123. It came with a jet and was a 51mm piston 90cc kit. It was only $79.99 with free shipping. It was a very cheap kit, I dont know the brand. I put it on a buddys 94 elite which already had a R1 pipe on it, stock everything else, no variator mods, stock carb, and 300 lbs of my buddys fat * riding it. Im sure tuned correctly with a normal size guy on it it would do 55 or so.

well could be taiwan bore 90cc. is stock crank running?
You will need to do block porting on 90cc.
my dio motor 78cc was all port block and bore close to 80 mph on a spree

78cc 50mm bore - 44.4mm fm crank
Well beware of ebay seller that doesnt know real math displacement..

The seller lied, 51mm piston on a stock crank is ~85cc.

werd that is max with stock crank, 85cc even that is pushing it. That's the size kit I planned to run on my Elite but decided to go with a Corsa instead

could be smaller, but the seller'sad said 90cc 51mm. For the $80 price and it came with a larger jet too, I dont care if it was a 70cc. R1 pipe did come alive with the larger displacement, but it did work well with a stock motor upjetted 4 sizes (running a little rich) did 44 mph without bore kit. Did about 38 dead stock. Nobody else saw these bore kits on ebay this past summer/fall?
