Greetings:
You can consider making the weight changes a bit less drastic. Instead of a 5.4 gram weight change, consider 2.7 swapping half the rollers. Test and reassess.

Johnny 248: Have you changed the jets when you dropped the roller weights? It's like when I change the weights I always have to fiddle a/f screw and with the jets to get it running better. You have any issues when changing weights or just direct swap of rollers and go?

Got off my * and put in some 6g rollers with my 5g rollers. Short ride home noticed some hesitation again around 45mph. Think I'm gonna need to upjet again. I want to check to see if my pj is still seated proper like anyway. That being said almost hit 63 today in traffic so had to let up didn't catch the rpms but the highest it got 9840rpms with temp at 351 so it's still a bit lean I think. It should be a bit lower temp wise for my liking but I'll take it. Just adding 1.5g of weight gave me atleast 4mph will be keep these rollers in till I hit the limit speed wise.
Here's how far my belt has made it out. Not sure if it goes higher but there's still room

Nice work Rip_city! I somehow believe the sweet spot is around 30-33 grams for the corsa set up. Seems like you are really close to being completely done with tuning. I have tried weights under 30 grams and it over revs belt doesn't travel all the way up the variator. I'm still a newbie but with all your hard work, there will be a lot of great advice for enthusiasts to follow!

Your belt needs to travel to about 10-12mm from the top. You are not getting anywhere near full variation. Which means your burning up your belt more than likely. Maybe your contra is keeping it from fully opening in the rear but you definitely should change it.

I run 39g in most of my corsas. The pipe is what makes the cylinder not the rollers. You need to start a crowd fund of save Gooch from the pg.

Thanks guys. The belt is new the contra has maybe 500 miles on it. G9 said I can try his used Scorpion and I should take him up on it. ill admit though the PG long is probably a good pipe it's just not my fave at this point. I can't complain really this scoot hauls *.

Corsas are strong, they're a good choice to take some abuse and keep going also. When you get a scorp you will think the pg is just ok. I ran a pg short on my stock block and cylinder. If you can run it on a stock cylinder it is barely a sport exhaust compared to a scorp.
I love my corsas and fabrizis. Never been fully satisfied with malossi. You'll get a lot of fun for a long time out of her.

Yeah the corsa is awesome! My problem is pipe noise. Lots of early mornings for work and would ride it more if I didn't care about my neighbors but I do. So that's something I need to keep in consideration for my next pipe purchase even if it means sacrificing.

I know exactly what you are talking about when it comes to noise around the neighborhood. But if it ain't loud it ain't fast. If you get a PG short its still a bit loud. Sucks that the exhaust note is louder than any of us would want it to be. A Dio ZX pipe should be more quite I believe but you will sacrifice power.

Well the GOOCH didn't like the ride in to work this morning. Sluggish down low and my 45mph glitch is back.. So looks like I'm back to tuning the carb.

Carbs don't do 60+, then 45 the next day. You have another issue. Check to see a fouled plug. Carbs are set it and forget it.

didnt say it wouldnt do 60 again. it will just not at WOT. at 45 if I drop down to 3/4 throttle it will jump past the glitch issue and continue to pull. it was about 25 degrees cooler this morning. even running iffy the bike still hauls * and hasnt been limited to 45 in a long time. this same issue happened not to long ago and I alleviated it for a short time by upjetting my main, which I will do again and see what happens. not so sure my pj is wanting to stay in place it has already proven that it wants to loosen up. not sure why but it has. im gonna get in there and check to make sure thats ok and do some adjusting.

Looked in the carb the PJ was still where it should be so I changed out the main and put in a 108. I also had a new air filter so I put that on. So far it it runs better though just minute hesitation around 45mph barely noticeable but I noticed it. Going to run this for a bit and see how it does. I think my pj is abut rich but hesitant to drop it to 32 just yet.

Took the Gooch out last night. Rode her hard for 20 miles my usual trip across the river to the pub. No issues Temps rose to 370 on the ride over outside Temps were 80 degrees but it ran great. Ride home much cooler ambient Temps in the 50s pushed the * out of it at least the best you can at 1:30 in the morning without attracting to much unwanted attention. Bike ran awesome pushed hard up my long hill high 50s mph and Temps around 360 max that wot balls to the wall up a Long grade.
This is still some tuning to do down low. 35pj is rich. It's affecting my needle down low is hesitant.
idle is high at 2 turns out it's about 2200 rpms to High for my taste. Gonna try to drop to a 32 to see where that gets me.
On a side not will be doing some research to find a good performing quieter pipe for everyday use. The pg long is just to loud. I know loud is fast and I don't mind some noise but the long is just to loud for my sleeper status that I like to have. I like to fly a little more under the radar on my late night early morning runs
