Step 1- Take apart your speedometer till its just the flat plastics with the speeds.
Step 2- Scan it into your computer.
Step 3- Using photoshop, or other program with "layers", Make a new layer over the scan and mark out the speeds visible (5-10-15-20-25-30-35).
Step 4- Find out the other speeds, such as 40-45-50. Then mark then on the speedometer.
Step 5- Photoshop the f*** out of it till your happy with it.
Step 6- Print off on normal paper and place in the speedometer. Reassemble The speedometer.
(note, on this step you might need to re size the photo some to get the perfect fit)
Step 7- Put it back on the bike, go for a test ride. See how you like it, see if its accurate, see if you spot any problems. If you spot any problems or something doesnt agree with a GPS, Go back to photoshop and fix the problems.
(repeat steps 4-7 till you are %100 happy with it)
Step 8- Find someone with a super high quality sticker printer or vinal printer and print it off.
My idea took me a few months of on and off work to get it right. But im happy with how it turned out. However when it came time to print them off i only did 8 stickers. I ruined 2 trying to fit them there right (very hard). I used one on the picture shown, and another one on a second speedometer of mine. Another one was ruined putting one on my friends bike. Then one on my friends bike. The last two im keeping.
