Nice find - 600mi is uncommon. It's looking good in the pic. Only thing I'd add to your 100% list is the plastic hub caps for the rear wheel(s). Your Gyro is really good find. Parts like the battery cover and carb cover are sought after and has many after them. For a clean scooter like yours I'm crossing my fingers you score the parts you would like

Just one of those generic carbs off ebay for GYRO. Under $40. Taz mentioned using some other scooter carb, I'm very open to suggestions.

4 legs good, 2 legs bad, 3 wheels, you can't touch this :)

Got an assortment of tires there - anyone got an ID on a source?

Stumbled on some patent drawings that Honda received in 2007. A "Swingable Vehicle". Gyro type three-wheeler, but CV joints and tilting rear wheels. Interesting.

Gyromaniac is right that it was only sold in Canada in '84, but Canucks were offered 'Sparkling Red' as well as 'Neptune Blue'.

I made a pdf scan of the 1984 Honda Canada scooter lineup which shows the '84 Gyro (see link). They're unbelievably rare in Canada though. Just recently I came across the first one posted for sale in Canada that I'd ever seen. I was too late though.

i live in a small town with a bunch of people riding around on cheap Chinese scooters. My friend and I just bought some l.e.d strips and we spent the weekend putting them on to set us apart from the rest of the riders. he has a honda metropolitan. this is the result. i put a switch right above my speedo and ran the wiring to the battery compartment. i then ran it from the battery compartment down the fuel lines to the rear fenders. i made sure to get the high intensity lights so they would show around my massive wheels
