Would you think the local honda store would have them or do i need to look online?

And are you sure your cruising at 55mph? Idk how wheelmans gear ratio is taller than yours but you have very close to the same speed.
Whats your top speed with the 8.44:1s?

You need to look up a place called vtcycles and talk to them. They have everything you need and then some. I hit 74 gps and radar gun verified. I know for sure I can go 55 up hill. Idk what wheelmans top speed is and he has a different set up. I've got a malossi cast iron and a v8 pipe

Wow really? Thats sweet

I was just hoping and praying for a top speed of 62-63 with ability to cruise at 55 or so

Would you think i could get there with this set up possibly?
1. Corsa
2. Polini vari (ramp, boss, etc)
3. Polini Sport Belt
4. Polini 2g Evo clutch
5. 1k Contra
6. Vented Clutch Bell
7. 28mm OKO
8. PG Long
9. 8.44:1 Secondaries
10. CT mani
11. Aftermarket fan
12. 3.00-10 rear tire

Along with cooler plug, different rollers, etc

I wouldn't waste money on all the poloni trans stuff. Just get a new belt, keli varitor, aftermarket ramp, stick with the stock clutch and bell, just change out the triplet springs and center. The variator from vtcycles is 40ish and the triplet springs with the center should only be 25ish. I paid 35 for a new belt from honda. I like the polini natural springs with the 1.5k spring but that's just me.

Eh it's not that big of a waste in my eyes. I'm a junior in high school and plan on taking this to college so i figure I'll just get what I need now. So I figure forking over a few extra bucks in the short term will pay off in the long term. Do you think that set up is capable of making it to 55mph cruise and 60+ for a top speed?

Ha, yeah I haven't even got the chance to tear into this engine yet :(

Once I get the cylinder head back from the local cnc shop for the afo5e engine I can get that running while I save up for this monster :geekdance:
I hope to have everything for this new engine midway through summer. I just want to make sure I know exactly what I need to get before I start ordering the wrong stuff. And I think I'm set on those 8.44s. I'd like to see 60+ on the straights at wot, but if I can't make it up the hills to get to the straights then there isn't a point
So I might just have this list figured out unless something new pops up that I don't know about, which seems to always happen. Major :newb: here

Once the engine head is completed (for the AF05E) i can throw it back on and have it all put together!

Then i can move the Spree into the garage and pull the AF16E into the storage room to tear into and make it a beast :woot:
