Did you pressure test with the temp gauge on the head to make sure thats not leaking? When you did the pressure test how long did you leave it for

yup. first pressure test were all dont with the motor off the bike. after i tried it and it ran hot i tried a pressure test on the bike with the spark plug and CHT sensor attached and have slow drop but only small leak i can find is on the gauge itself. pumped to 8psi and soaked everything with soapy water (case halfs, all gaskets, all over manifold and cylinder. only bubbles i could find is by the gauge).

tried all different jetting today with the 28oko. one thing i notice is there is always a little puddle of fluid inside where the carb seats on the manifold no matter how small i run the pilot (lowest i went was 45 pilot bike still ran good with 45). also on the exhaust port of the cylinder there is a lot of unburnt fuel/oil.

got the 28oko off and put on the 24oko tonight.

will test tomorrow with 24oko. starting jets 45 pilot 132 main.

also started another motor build with spare arnada block i had. gonna see if i can get different results on that 1.

Try running a 4.0 oz oil mix

yup. thats what i been running the last tank. 4oz per gal.

OK runs cooler with the 24.....

pilot 45, needle center, main 130.

crusing at 45-50mph on speedo i see 340-350 temp but only if i open and close throttle the entire time. if i get to 45-50mph and hold 1/4 throttle to maintain speed temps come up and dont stop (highest i went was 390 at 1/4 throttle, but bike felt smooth with no apparent detonation/preignition).

tried to up pilot to 48 but somehow ran hotter.......

will try to change needle clip position to richer tomorrow and see what that does.

also changed manifold to stage6 with 24oko and oko airbox.
