345 is not hot lol. If he was hitting closer to 380 then I would be worried. What springs are you running on your clutch? S or zx trans?

Mine has hit 415 when cruising 40mph for a few minutes. If I am WOT it is 370 or so even if I hold it there on the highway for a few miles. But at around 5/8 throttle it get hot. Probably my needle is off a bit.

Wow, youre going to be melting seals or piston soon at those temps deuce. Thats pretty high. Makes 350 sound like tap water.

Try raising your needle a notch should cool it down.

according to online 615 feet above sea level.
CHT hit 345 deg at WOT 65.2 MPH
cruising 35 to 45 mph CHT stays 280 to 295
cruising at 45-app 50 mph 310-320 deg
stull messing with jet sizes

Machinist for 20 years! Wow, I am looking forward to learning a few things from you. I went to Machinist school at Aberdeen Proving Grounds in 2009-2010 for the Army. Then bought a few thing for the house, a 14x40 Jet Engine Lathe, 9x20 Jet Metal Mini Lathe, a old Jet Vertical Horizontal/ Vertical Combo (1978 OLD), and also a little SAIG X2 CNC converted Mill (Which I do not know how to even turn on at the moment). Having machines in the garage makes for some definite tangents at times when trying to do simple tasks.
i.e. Couldn't get this gear out of this case so I spent 3-4 hours creating a slide hammer for the task.

Ha, a 2x4 and a dead blow would have been seconds. But nice ingenuity! Why does it look like its floating.

65 on 8:5 gears not bad. I dont know much about S trans or the polini clutch but i run Zx stock clutch with 2000 springs 1000 center and its super responsive. How is the pickup with the 8:5? Id like to get 8:1, my malossi gears make too much noise lol

Das da one! How do you like the MHR compared to the Corsa veedub? Would like to grab one after my corsa blows up lol. It's either over size my corsa or buy a fresh MHR.
