Great 60's ride, Can't wait to see what you do to her. Are you planning on restoring or going to a modern/retro look. Either way. Best of luck to you, You have a great bike there

if the lady likes the manual shift it will stay pretty stock but will be refinished something god awful like pink sparkle, i am thinking that if that is the case the plastic will still stay a stark white.
if she doesnt... that is a whole 'nother story... i am thinking about stretching the main tube about 3 inches, push the seat back about 1-2 inches and replace it with a saddle style, and try to find a stroker kit. or replace the engine with a decked and bored c90 engine with the 4 down transmission. but only time and the size of my bank account will tell.

Someone posted, "Scooter for Parts" Out of curiousity I went to check it out. He said it didn't run, and just wanted to get rid of it since it was taking up his garage. I never seen a scooter so HUGE!!! Turns out it has a longer wheel base than the Honda Goldwing, haha.

I complained that it was too heavy and too long to load on my little truck. I offered $20, and I'll haul it away for him. He was so thankful that I took it off his property, he even gave me a new set of rachet tie downs to secure the HELIX.

I took it home, and checked the battery. It was disconnected, hehe. I jumped it and rode it around. Smooth sweet ride, and very fast.

Just paid insurance on it. Full coverage for $79/yr. Same price as each of my 650cc Honda Hawk GTs.

$40, hmmm, let me think about it  That's pretty good ROI.

and i thought i got a good deal on this at 250$ (bone stock and perfect, all the rough edges are from me owning it for three years  ) and i still have the near-perfect seat. had an extra seat laying around that was quite tattered, so i combined it with a trash pickup couch (sniff tested for quality) and voila!!! not really practical, as it gets oily from being around my grubby spree, and isn't water resistant.
